Child Development Groups
Small Group Programs
Through tailored small group programs co-facilitated by an OT and educator, we create opportunities for children to grow their skills in regulation, social connection, sensory-motor development, and school readiness.
Groups are play-based, seamlessly fit into classroom routines, and include take-home resources so families can continue supporting learning at home.
- Co-facilitated by an occupational therapist and an educator, these groups are run within the classroom environment and support up to sixteen children. The program focuses on foundational sensory-motor skills that are essential for self-regulation, movement, and active engagement in early learning. Parents receive take-home handouts with developmental insights and practical activity ideas to extend learning beyond the classroom.

- Early identification is key to supporting children’s developmental needs. This targeted screening program is designed for small groups of up to four children, combining simple educator and home screening tools (including the Ages and Stages Questionnaire) with OT observations. The process highlights children who may benefit from structured small group experiences and ensures timely interventions can be put in place. Each child receives a summary of the screening outcomes along with tailored recommendations.
