Work With Us

Welcome!
What we're known for
Our studios are filled with laughter, learning, and people who genuinely want to make a difference. We value empathy, creativity, and innovation, and we know the best outcomes often come from thinking outside the box.
Whether you’re early in your career or bringing years of experience, there’s space here for your voice, your growth, and your unique journey.
You’ll be supported to collaborate, reflect, and lead with purpose through ongoing development, peer connection, and a workplace culture that celebrates progress (big and small). Our studios are thoughtfully designed to be both welcoming and inspiring, a sanctuary for exploration, learning, and meaningful work.
Professional development & learning pathways
At Motivate Kids, we’re passionate about supporting your growth because when you thrive, so do the children and families we support.
Each team member has access to both group and individual professional development budgets to meet CPD requirements and explore personal areas of interest. We also offer learning contracts for advanced training, including pathways like Ayres Sensory Integration, Sensory Attachment Intervention, and more, so you can go deeper in the areas that matter most to you.
Administrative support and tools
Our incredible Office Team takes care of the behind-the-scenes work—like billing, scheduling, and family communication—so you can focus on what you do best: supporting children and families.
We also invest in smart systems and tools that make everyday tasks simpler (yes, even SOAP notes), helping you stay organised, efficient, and focused on the work that matters most.
A culture you can feel
Culture isn’t just something we talk about—it’s something you feel the moment you walk through our doors.
At Motivate Kids, we believe a connected team creates better outcomes for the families we serve. That’s why we prioritise a supportive, uplifting environment where relationships matter, laughter is welcome, and collaboration is part of daily life.
From regular catch-ups to unforgettable team experiences—like climbing Adelaide Oval, celebrating at Mount Lofty, or sharing a simple meal, we’re always finding new ways to connect, grow, and have a little fun along the way.
Tools for You to thrive
We make sure you have everything you need to do your best work. From MacBook laptops and iPads to GoPros and Interactive Metronomes, our team has access to high-quality tools and tech that support creativity, efficiency, and innovation.
We’re always open to exploring new technology that enhances how we work, because when you’re well equipped, everyone benefits.
Thoughtfully designed workspaces
As OTs, we know how important it is to have a workspace that supports both body and mind. That’s why we provide height-adjustable desks, flexible seating options, and ergonomic setups to keep you comfortable and well-supported throughout your day.
And when it comes to therapy resources—you’re covered. Every Motivate Kids studio is fully stocked with swings, games, books, assessments, and everything in between, so you’ll never need to supply your own.
Spaces that support wellbeing
Our studios have been thoughtfully designed using psychology-informed design principles to support the wellbeing of both clients and clinicians.
From calming colours and natural materials to purposeful lighting and carefully curated artwork, every element has been chosen to create an environment that feels safe, inspiring, and functional. Some spaces are designed to soothe the nervous system, while others promote focus, play, or creativity, so you can do your best work in a space that works for you.
Diverse caseloads & meaningful projects
At Motivate Kids, no two days are the same—and that’s just how we like it. Our therapists support children from birth through to early adulthood, using evidence-based, neurodiversity-affirming approaches tailored to each child’s strengths and goals.
You’ll work across a variety of diagnoses and developmental areas, with opportunities to complete off-site visits that help build a truly holistic understanding of each child’s world.
We also offer dedicated project streams – designed around team interests and client needs, so you can deepen your skills, follow your passions, and contribute to innovative programs that make a real impact.
A Career that grows with you
Whether you’re just starting out or ready to take the next step, we’re here to support your journey. Our Internship Program helps final-year students gain confidence in paediatrics, with a smooth transition into our tailored Graduate Program once AHPRA registration is complete. From day one, you’ll receive personalised supervision, structured learning opportunities, and mentoring that reflects your goals and learning style.
Together, we set and review career goals annually, ensuring your growth stays front and centre. As your skills deepen, you’ll have the chance to explore leadership through specialised pathways like Functional Capacity Assessments, school and early learning partnerships, group programs, and more.
Clinical framework
Our Clinical Framework is designed to guide and support each therapist’s growth. Whether you’re developing foundational skills or refining advanced clinical reasoning.
It forms part of our broader learning and development approach, working hand-in-hand with our Clinical Supervision Framework and succession planning to ensure every therapist feels supported, challenged, and confident at every stage of their journey.
