School Holiday Workshops

School holidays, the Motivate Kids way.
Children & Families

Our school holiday workshops bring children together for two hours of creativity, movement, building, play and plenty of fun.

Led by our Occupational Therapists in supportive small groups, each workshop is designed around something kids already love to do, with opportunities to build confidence, practise new skills and connect with others along the way.

Choose a favourite or come back for more. There’s always something different happening in the holidays.

Active Workshop

Move your body.  Have a go.  Be part of the team.

Run, throw, kick, jump and play your way through a mix of sports, games and team challenges.

Children get the chance to explore activities inspired by athletics, soccer, netball and more, with the focus on joining in, having a go and building confidence through movement.

Our therapists create a supportive environment where children can practise coordination and body awareness while also navigating teamwork, taking turns, persistence and all the little moments that come with playing alongside others.

Great for: coordination, body awareness, teamwork, confidence, emotional regulation and resilience.

LEGO® Club

Build something brilliant together!

Children work together on creative building challenges, taking on different roles and learning how to listen, share ideas, problem-solve and work towards something together.

Guided by our therapists, including our LEGO®-Certified OT, the workshop uses the natural motivation of LEGO® play to create opportunities for communication, flexible thinking and connection.

There’s plenty of building, plenty of imagination and, very likely, some serious discussion about whose idea is going to work.

Great for: teamwork, communication, turn-taking, flexible thinking, perspective-taking and problem-solving.

Arts & Crafts Workshop

Make it. Create it. Make it your own.

Paint, build, cut, design, decorate and see where your imagination takes you.

Our Arts & Crafts Workshop gives children the chance to explore different materials, techniques and creative projects in a relaxed and supportive small-group environment.

Along the way, children are encouraged to plan, problem-solve, try new things and share their ideas, building fine motor skills, persistence and confidence while enjoying the simple pleasure of making something themselves.

Great for: creativity, fine motor skills, planning, attention, problem-solving and self-expression.

A gentle introduction to group-based therapy.

Our holiday workshops bring together creativity, movement and fun, giving children the chance to build skills, play and connect in a supportive small-group environment during the school holidays.

Each workshop runs for 2 hours, with 2-3 therapists supporting 3-6 children. Holiday workshops are also a gentle and positive introduction to group-based therapy for children who haven’t tried groups before.

$290.99/Workshop – based on a 2 to 1 ratio. NDIS Participants may be able to claim this through their NDIS plan. Inclusive of 2 hour face-to-face workshop, preparation and documentation time.

Children don’t need to be existing Motivate Kids clients to attend a holiday workshop. New families welcome.

Our Term 3 Holiday Workshops Registrations are now closed.
