COMING TO MOTIVATE KIDS IN 2027

Every child has something to say.  Every way of communicating matters.

Communication plays such an important part in childhood. From sharing ideas and expressing feelings to making friends, learning and joining in, it helps children connect with the world around them.

At Motivate Kids, we’re excited to share our thoughtful, personalised approach to Speech Pathology.

Our Speech Pathologists support children to develop their communication skills, build on their strengths and find meaningful ways to express themselves and be understood.

Speech Pathology, the Motivate Kids way.

Great therapy starts with getting to know your child. How they communicate, what they enjoy, what they might find tricky and what matters most to your family.

Our Speech Pathologists will bring together clinical expertise, creativity and play to make therapy engaging, individualised and meaningful for your child.

We’ll also work closely with you and the important people in your child’s life, sharing practical strategies that can make a difference beyond our studio.

How can Speech Pathology help your child?

From first words to friendships, communication plays a big part in how children learn, connect and share their world.

Speech Pathology can help with all sorts of things.  It might be helpful if your child:

  • Is taking a little longer to start talking or develop their language skills.

  • Finds certain speech sounds tricky or is often difficult for others to understand.

  • Has trouble understanding questions, instructions or conversations.

  • Finds it tricky to put their thoughts into words, tell stories or join conversations.

  • Would benefit from different ways to communicate – such as signs, pictures or communication devices.

  • Needs a little extra support with reading, spelling or early literacy.

  • Finds eating or mealtimes tricky, including chewing, swallowing or managing different food textures.

  • Would benefit from support to connect with others, express their preference or communicate their needs.

Not sure if Speech Pathology is right for your child?  You don’t need a diagnosis, or all the answers before reaching out.  We’re happy to help you explore the next steps.

Why Speech Pathology?

At Motivate Kids, we believe that understanding a child means seeing the bigger picture. Their communication, movement, learning, wellbeing and relationships are all part of their development.

Bringing Speech Pathology alongside Occupational Therapy is a natural next step in our commitment to supporting children and families with exceptional, holistic care.

Our services may be growing, but our commitment remains the same. To see each child as an individual, work together with families and provide thoughtful, high-quality care in all the little things.

A FEW COMMON QUESTIONS

Does my child need a diagnosis or referral?

No diagnosis is needed to enquire about Speech Pathology. You can contact us directly, although some funding pathways may require a referral.

Can my child access Speech Pathology without Occupational Therapy?

Absolutely! Speech Pathology is a standalone service. Where appropriate, our Speech Pathologists and Occupational Therapists can also collaborate to support your child’s development.

Where will Speech Pathology be offered?

We’re preparing to welcome families to our Broadview studios. Speech Pathology sessions will also be available as in home sessions, as well as within your child’s community – at school or their early learning centre.  Further information about appointment options and availability will be shared as the service develops.

Can I use NDIS, Medicare or private health insurance?

Depending on eligibility, funding or rebate options may be available. Our team will be happy to discuss these with you as service details are confirmed.

When can we get started?
